Who’s The Best/Worst MNF Announcing Team?
What was worse, 2 years of Dennis Miller or 3 of Tony Kornheiser? Tough call. I like Kornheiser, but I didn’t like him in the MNF booth. In fact, Shutdown Corner pretty much summed up all my feelings on Tony in this excellent post from today. With that being said, I’m excited about what Gruden will bring to the table. I believe that his NFL “street smarts” will play well off Jaworski’s “book smarts.” Tirico is serviceable as a play by play man, so this team has potential. And as an added bonus, Gruden has the potential to tell someone to go F themselves at any moment. Awesome!
Monday Night Football has had a lot of different asses (literally and figuratively) in the announcers seats over the years. Some good, some…not so good.
So who was the best and who was the worst?

Your Caddyshack Cast Is Revealed
The votes were tallied and the results are in. We have successfully cast the remake of Caddyshack (now lets hope they never remake it!). A few surprises if you ask me, my picks are in quotation marks. This also allows me the chance to post more pictures of Cuthbert and Fox, enjoy.
Ty Webb - The biggest surprise in my opinion, Paul Rudd edged out Will Ferrell by 1%. I never knew there were so many Rudd fans out there. (Ferrell)
Judge Smails - The majority agreed that Christopher Walken was a natural fit. (Walker)
Al Czervick - Vince Vaughn won by the largest margin. (Vaughn)
Carl Spackler - John C Reilly is your winner, how can we have him but no Ferrell? (Jim Carey)
Danny Noonan - Michael Cera by 1% over Justin Timberlake, are you kidding me? (Timberlake)
Maggie O’Hooligan - Megan Fox needs to work on her Irish accent. (Kunis)
Lacey Underall - I’m not going to complain about Elisha Cuthbert winning, but I think I omitted a natural Lacey…Kate Hudson. (Cuthbert)
Dr. Beeper - Jason Bateman wins the popular vote. (Richard Jenkins, looks just like him)
Lou Loomis - Jon Favreau, probably my 4th choice. (Danny Mcbride…does nobody watch East Bound & Down?)
Spaulding Smails - Jon Heder, born to play this role. (Heder)

Movie remakes seem to be the rage these days, but we all know there are movies you just can’t remake. So why am I messing with what may be the greatest comedy of all time? Hot Chick Tournament: And The Winner Is…
3 weeks after the NCAA tournament final, we wrap up the 1st annual Hot Chick Tournament. I never knew there were so many people who dig Julianne Hough. She had my vote in each of her match ups, as well as the public majority. Congrats to her. I have the official “Spankbank Champion” trophy being made and will deliver it to Julianne on the Dancing with the Stars set when its finished. Court ordered restraining order soon to follow.
Hot Chick Tournament: And Then There Was 2
Is it me or has this tournament lasted way too long? Some of these chicks have gotten hotter and some not so hot, it’s taken so long. Anyway, we are finally here at the final. In two very, very close picks, Alba edged Cuthbert, and Hough knocked off Fox. So here’s your final choices…and don’t blame me, I would have been happy with Audrina.

The results are in from the Great 8 match ups. Alba whipped up on Bilson, and in an upset Cuthbert edged out Miller. Megan Fox knocked off Velasquez, setting up the the impossible choice of choosing her or Hough(who took care of SJ.)
