The Sherms Are An Offensive Juggernaut
We are now 6 games into the Sherm squared regime at offensive coordinator, after 6 games of Zorn…and the results are definitely better across the board.
In every offensive category since the Sherms took over, the Redskins have made tremendous strides. In addition to the obvious improvements statiscally, you have to consider the fact that the Redskins have played superior opponents over the last 6 games, and have played those games without All-Pro players like Cooley, Portis and Samuels.
Here are the stats…once again remember the first 6 games were against teams that on average are ranked #22 in the NFL defensively, and the last 6 games are against teams ranked #13.
