RJ: Training Camp Day 4
Since we had the day off today, I stayed the night at my house. It felt good to wake up to my son crawling all over my face.. lol
I planned on sleeping in, but lil man wasn’t having it. so WE woke up at 8am. lol. I played with Dash for a little bit then went to the facility to hop in the ice tub.. The ice tub gives u the best feeling when you’re done, because it flushes out all the lactic acid, but it hurts so bad for the 1st couple minutes.. You have to be fully committed to gettiN in there otherwise it will make u look foolish.. lol
I talked to my boy Lee. We talk almost everyday, just updating on camp, fam, life, and sharing good laughs.. lol
A twitter follower shared a link to me.. T.D Jakes preaching on 3 types of people that come in your life, (Confidants, Constituents, and comrades) it made me re-evaluate the people in my life, and the roles they play.
READY FOR TOMORROW.. I feel refreshed.. ALL SYSTEMS GO!!
Goodnight.. #DREAMINabout: “#BOMBS” When I explode on the scene, everyone will feel the impact. ~$HOWTIME

Horrendous Redskins Shirt
A couple of months ago I held a contest to see if anyone owned an uglier Redskins shirt than the one that I personally own. While no one brought enough to the table to take the title from me then, I may have just stumbled upon a contender…
The shirt above celebrates the Redskins 1991 Super Bowl victory…although it’s hard to tell that with all the business going on here. We got newspaper headlines (that tell nothing) mixed up in a tie-dye/hip-hop collage…there are no words I have for this. I concede victory.
Would you like to be the proud owner of this shirt? It can be yours for the low-low “buy it now” price for $49.95 via Ebay auction. Imagine how much attention you’d get at the next Redskins tailgate party…I’ll wear my shirt and meet you there.
Cheers and Hail
RJ: Training Camp Day 3
Wokeup this morniN with blisters from yesterday.. lol I hate new cleats..
Before practice I had them put a bunch of blister pads on my feet.. I figured “JUST GET THROUGH TODAY AND I CAN REST THEM TOMORROW AND COME BACK FRESH MONDAY”
I was excited to see all the Redskins fans out there supporting the team.. Also this was my sons 1st training camp watching daddy.. (= {1st of many}
I only gave up one completion today.. It was a 5 yard completion.. It pissed me off because I shouldn’t have even let him catch that!! Tried to run that same route later on and i jammed him to the ground. (eye focus) that’s all.
My streak is at 2 right now.
Good day on special teams. Got some extra work in after practice.
Coach Shanahan gave us the day off tomorrow. So im gonna rest my feet and come back Monday FLYING!
O yeah, talked w/ the Washington Post today.. They’re running a story on me.
Goodnight.. world #DREAMINabout: “#SKYSCRAPERS” It all started from the bottom. Then built on. ~$HOWTIME

RJ: Day 2 Of Camp
Slept a little rough last night. All i could think about was todays practice..
Once i wokeup I headed to the facility to suit up for practice.. Once that 1st whistle blew, it was on!! I had a really good practice.. 2 pass breakups and nothing caught on my side.. Im trying to see how many days in a row i can allow 1 or less catches.. today makes day 1.. (=
few of the wideouts were mad from jamming them, but competition breeds success… So im gonna keep competing!
The worst part of practice was toes needed more room in my cleats. lol Made it hard to break towards the end.. When i took my sock off, my big toe was bleeding.. lol YUCK
After practice wifey ran me some bath water to soak my feet.. THAT FELT AMAZING!! I got some bigger cleats for tomorrow.. (=
READY FOR TOMORROWS PRACTICE!!
Goodnight..Twit world #DREAMINabout: “#BOATS” Im built to stay afloat.. The chances of me sinking are very slim… ~$HOWTIME

An Ode To Phillip Daniels
Thursday morning I was thrilled to learn that the Redskins had finally shipped Albert Haynesworth out of town and had actually gotten some type of value in return. However, my enjoyment was short lived as the Redskins announced a short time later that they had released veteran defensive end Phillip Daniels.
The difference in jersey numbers worn by AH and PD were separated by just one number, with Al having worn #92 and Daniels having worn #93. The difference between the 2 players characters and hearts on and off the field are separated by miles. While Albert strained a knee taking a dump, Phil was playing an entire season with a torn biceps. While Albert was laying down on the field during the middle of a play, PD was trying to jump just a little bit higher…to block a field goal attempt. While Albert was giving terse “no comments” to media members, Big Phil was doing the first ever radio show by a couple of DC bloggers.
Always one of the most fan friendly Redskins, Daniels took to twitter to announce his release and later tweeted this to his fans:
Thank you to the Redskins organization for 7 great years. It’s tough to say goodbye when you have bled burgundy & gold for so many years. I have no regrets because I left everything on the field. To Redskin Nation who have supported me all this time I got nothing but love for you. God opens doors no man can close and close doors no man can open. I want to keep playing football and proud of what I have accomplished as a Redskin. #HTTR and good luck to all the guys that I loved going to battle with
Daniels was first class all the way and he will be missed. While the door for his return has been left cracked open (injuries may cause an invitation to re-sign, coaching opportunities may exist) it appears that #93’s run in the burgundy and gold is over. He goes out having played 7 seasons and 82 games. His large hands batted down 24 passes and picked up 5 fumble recoveries. The muscles that were built up thru hard work in the gym and the muscles that were torn during battle helped him to 17.5 sacks, 181 tackles and 5 forced fumbles. And, on a magical day in December of 2005…in a performance that I will never forget…Phil had 4 sacks and a fumble recovery against the hated Cowboys. Thank you for effort Phil, best of luck to you.
The highlights of that Cowboy game start around the 1:20 mark of the video:
Cheers and Hail

RJ: Official Day 1 Of Camp
Wokeup took my roommate (Henson) to the facility at 9am and came back to the telly. I didn’t have to be there til 11, but it’s all good. That’s what WINNING teammates do. They look out for one another, even on the simplest of things.
Threw on my outfit (with a black Seattle fitted) and went to get my physical done. Met w/ the optometrist to get my black visor cleared through N.F.L regulations then went to meetings..
After meetings we had a conditioning run.. 100 back rest.. 90 back rest, etc down to 10… i made sure i finished in front everytime… WINNERS WIN!! yeah it made it tougher, but im better because of it..
During our break before meetings i stopped by the house to see the fam. Its tough being away from them.. Im glad I had time to get them all settled in before the lockout ended tho. At least i know they’re taken care of. (=
Left back for meetings til about 9:20pm Went to the telly and hopped in my playbook the rest of the night..
TOMORROW IT BEGINS!!! 1ST PRACTICE
Goodnight world… #DREAMINabout: “#CANDLES” Even in the darkest of times, I shine!!.. ~$HOWTIME
