RJ: Training Camp Day 19
Wokeup this morning feeling good..went to practice and had a good day. I made a few breaks on the ball today that I was happy with…then there were a couple plays I can get better on. All in all STILL NO DEEP BALLS GIVEN UP..
Towards the end of practice I dove out for a pick against Stallworth and landed on my shoulder and strained it a little bit. I CAN’T NOT PRACTICE THOUGH!! Im in too good of a situation to sit out. So even though it was a bit numb, I finished practice strong, then went to treatment, then took a nap.
After my nap, I went back to treatment, meetings, walk-thrus and treatment again.
Coach asked if I could also play another defensive position as well as corner…so of course I said yeah. They threw me in and I was fine.
We had a bit of a break before our next meetings so I used that time to go watch film on my own. Gotta make sure I learn as much as possible. Greg Williams always told me “EVERYDAY IS AN INTERVIEW, AND THE MORE YOU CAN DO, THE BETTER YOUR CHANCES ARE.” So I’m GoiN extra hard in the film room.
After meetings I went back to treatment, watched some more film,
to learn the position thoroughly, then went to get a massage..
Nagging pains happen in this profession, who can push through it is key.
P.S. My shoulder is fine. Just makiN sure I keep it that way.
Goodnight World… #DREAMINabout: “#HUNGER” I’ve worked up an appetite for success AND IM GONNA EAT ~$HOWTIME
